Boulevards/Thoroughfares The Regional Transportation Alliance recognizes and supports the completion of new connector roadways to critical employment areas, as well as the strategic expansion of existing boulevards and thoroughfares. Our highest priority here is the creation of the Northern Durham Parkway – a core project in the Durham Loop Highway System. In addition, the Alliance is helping to facilitate an ongoing regional dialogue on wayfinding for residents, commuters, and visitors.
