Alliance Sign Audit Partnerships (ASAPs) A “sign audit” – a concept spearheaded in Durham by the Durham Convention and Visitor’s Bureau in partnership with NCDOT and other organizations, including the Regional Transportation Alliance - exists to identify misleading, incorrect, or missing signs on major and minor regional routes. The Alliance has expanded this effort throughout the Greater Triangle – we need the help of all our members and partners for this to be successful.
In 2006, the NC DOT added “Apex” to US 1/64 freeway in response to an Alliance led audit. As you drive the roads of the Triangle, please identify any incorrect or missing signs. If you have a digital or
