540 / I-40 Interchange Improvements Advancing
NCDOT is creating a second exit lane from I-540 West to I-40 West in Research Triangle Park. The project is moving quickly, with substantial completion expected by December 2010.
Triangle Connector to I-85 Advances
The East End Connector – the Triangle Connector to I-85 – is now slated to begin construction by 2014, according to the draft Urban Loop Prioritization Process Schedule (link).
RTA, Cary, Apex CofCs and Town Councils pass unified resolutions for US 64 west
The vision for US 64 continues to advance in our region. Within the past month, a series of recommendations that incorporated resolutions by the RTA and the Cary and Apex chambers have been unanimously supported by both the Cary and Apex town councils.

RTA Solutions Forum 14: Transit Circulators
The RTA Solutions Forum series highlights best practices and ideas for helping Triangle commuters get home to their families and for improving travel options. The September 2010 RTA Solutions Forum, sponsored by the Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce and IBM and hosted by Cisco Systems, will focus on the potential for transit circulators to improve an enhanced regional transit system.
