Clymer Cease is a managing principal architect for Pearce Brinkley Cease + Lee Architecture where his more than 30 years experience has helped the firm become one of the most trusted names in the business. Clymer has worked on projects for UNC Chapel Hill, Duke University, N.C. State University, the University of Maryland, the North Carolina Museum of History, the Wake County Public School System, the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, and the North Carolina Museum of Art.
In addition to his work with the firm, Clymer also is active as a member of the North Carolina Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and he is the past president and director of the Design Guild of the N.C. State University College of Design. As well, he is on the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce Board of Advisors, and the Downtown Raleigh Alliance Board of Directors, is the chairman of Triangle Family Services Board of Directors, is the president of Artsplosure Board of Directors and is a member of the City of Raleigh Public Art and Design Board.
Clymer has his bachelor’s of environmental design in architecture from N.C. State and his master’s of architecture from Georgia Institute of Technology. He is also professionally licensed architect in North Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, South Carolina, and Maryland, and he holds his NCARB Certification.
The North Carolina native lives in Cary with his wife, Patty, and his daughter, Elizabeth.
