Diane Kuehn is president and CEO of VisionPoint Marketing, a web marketing agency for mid to large size organizations that provides strategy, execution and measurement of integrated online marketing programs. With a strategic focus in higher education, VisionPoint specializes in web design and development, social media, search engine marketing, online advertising and email marketing. The firm’s outstanding growth and sustained success has led VisionPoint to receive the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce’s Pinnacle Business Award for Steady Growth and Profitability in 2006, 2009 and 2011, as well as Business Leader magazine’s 2009 list of Top 100 Small Businesses in North Carolina. The firm has been named to the Top 500 Small Businesses list by DiversityBusiness.com, the nation’s primary resource portal for business connections that identifies the top small businesses and the most successful entrepreneurs across the United States each year.
Diane established VisionPoint Marketing after holding numerous executive sales and marketing positions at leading companies, including Cox Communications, SourceLink, High Speed Net Solutions, and ADVO, the country’s largest direct marketing firm.
Her service and leadership have been recognized by the Triangle Business Journal’s Women in Business Award, which recognizes the top 25 female executives in the Triangle who display outstanding business and community leadership. Diane has been named an Enterprising Woman of the Year by Enterprising Women Magazine and a Mover and Shaker by Business Leader magazine. In 2011 she received a scholarship to the Tuck Executive Education program at Dartmouth by Carolinas Minority Supplier Development Council (CMSDC) in honor of her accomplishments as one of North Carolina’s top minority business leaders. In 2011, Diane was appointed by Governor Bev Perdue to the Board of Directors of the NC Council for Women.
Active in civic and professional organizations, Diane served on the executive committee for the board of directors of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce as well as vice chair of the International Affairs Council (IAC), a nonprofit organization that plans itineraries for visiting international dignitaries and professionals. Diane previously served three years with the Advisory Board for the Me Fine Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing financial assistance to parents and caregivers sacrificing their livelihoods in order to provide their children with state-of-the-art, or even last-chance medical treatment at Duke and UNC Children’s Hospitals. Dedicating a part of her personal life to charitable and community activities, Diane has been active in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and served on the marketing committee for Triangle Family Services (TFS).
