Jim is the site manager for the Credit Suisse Center of Excellence in Research Triangle Park. Jim joined Credit Suisse in 2000 as a director in the Americas Operations Group where he had oversight for shared services across Operations in the region. In 2003, Jim took the lead for Operations in establishing the framework for an operating center outside of New York. In 2005, he relocated to Raleigh and was involved with the successful launch of the Center.

He began his career in Financial Services in 1976 and has worked for a number of major financial services and consulting firms during the past 30 years including Smith Barney, Chase and Citigroup.

Jim became the ninth chair of the Regional Transportation Alliance business leadership group in October 2008 and is Acting Chair in 2011.
