RTA Forum on Transit Circulators Well-received

Nearly 70 elected, transportation, and business leaders heard presentations about transit circulators at the RTA Solutions Forum 14 on September 9, 2010.  Circulators were a primary recommendation by the Special Transit Advisory Commission (STAC) and are the "third leg" in the bus-rail-circulators transit stool.

The presentations on transit circulators ran the gamut from an overview of the existing R-line circulator and Bull City Connector in Raleigh and Durham, to a review of other standard and premium circulator options elsewhere, to the new personal rapid transit (PRT) system for Heathrow Airport in London.

The Solutions Forum web page now includes links to the entire presentation deck, along with two PRT videos shown during the forum.  See the Solutions Forum web page and scroll down to the agenda:  letsgetmoving.org/solutionsforum.
