NCDOT completing study of US 64 west
- RTA, Cary Chamber, Apex Chamber endorsed unified position in Jan 2010
- Suggests highlighting new 540 turnpike (opening fall 2012) as stoplight free alternative
- Recommends multiple aesthetic roundabout interchanges along the lines of the new interchanges in Carmel, Indiana
- Calls for preserving boulevard feel while enhancing mobility and connectivity
Cary, Apex councils endorse RTA/chambers resolutions this month
- Both councils unanimously supported series of recommendations that included RTA/chambers resolutions

- No money has been set aside for corridor
