* Midwest Airlines Returns With Non-Stop Service to Milwaukee beginning today
- Airline operates twice daily service between the RDU & Milwaukee (MKE) starting April 1, 2010
- Previously Midwest offered service at RDU in 2007 and 2008 and from 1998-2001
- Midwest Airlines serves more than 30 destinations from its Milwaukee hub, which will provide connection opportunities from RDU to cities in the Midwest and the West coast
* Paris flight update and peer comparison
- RDU-Paris and Pittsburgh-Paris announced in November 2008 for June 2009 start
- RDU-Paris delayed indefinitely December 2008; Pittsburgh offered subsidies to retain flight
- Currently, PIT-Paris is not meeting revenue targets, with Pittsburgh and state of PA expected to pay up to maximum $5,000,000 subsidy for 2009 ($2.5m regional + $2.5m state)
