I-40 / Orange County field visit
A final reminder that we will have our first field visit of 2026 next week, on the morning of Tuesday, April 14, to a portion of the I-40 widening project in Orange County.
Register via this link if you or a colleague have not already done so. The visit will occur on 4/14 between 10 am and 11 am; your arrival can occur as soon as 9:30 am. You must pre-register if you would like to attend.
The regional business community applauds our partners at NCDOT Division 7 for their vital leadership on this important multimodal freeway, and we look forward to the field visit on Tuesday.
Another transit win
On Thursday, GoTriangle hosted a brief recognition event for a $2 million federal investment in the new RTP GoTriangle regional transit center. It was heartwarming to hear from several leaders including Congresswoman Ross, Congresswoman Valerie Foushee, GoTriangle chair Mary-Ann Baldwin, GoTriangle CEO Brian Smith, and Travis Crayton with the Research Triangle Foundation of North Carolina. All spoke of the importance of making investments in multimodal travel options for the future of our growing market. Learn more in this week’s blog.
