RTA invites you to join more than 350 regional leaders in January 2027 for the 25th annual meeting of the metropolitan Triangle’s regional business leadership group on transportation.
The RTA annual meeting is a can’t-miss gathering of members of the regional business community, elected officials, transportation partners, and other leaders from across our region and state. The event includes the annual State of Mobility report, presented by several members of the RTA chairs council and RTA executive director Joe Milazzo II, PE that highlights the advocacy priorities of the regional business community in 2027.
We will have more details about our 25th anniversary meeting as we draw closer to the date.
All RTA members have one or more tickets included with their membership; additional tickets are available. Event sponsorships are $975 and are open to both RTA members and non-members. We invite you and your colleagues to attend this event, where RTA will highlight the impact of RDU International Airport on the region, and the region’s business community, and how we can support our shared economic success and the future prosperity of our market.

Join more than 400 regional leaders in January 2025 for the 23rd annual meeting of the metropolitan Triangle’s regional business leadership group on transportation. Members of the regional business community will join regional and statewide leaders in transportation and government as we explore new and innovative ways to fund and advance mobility infrastructure in North Carolina.
The RTA annual meeting is a can’t-miss gathering of regional business leaders, members, elected officials, transportation partners, and other colleagues from our region and state. The event will also feature the annual State of Mobility presentation. All RTA members have one or more tickets included with their membership; additional tickets are available. Join more than 300 regional leaders this summer at the Westin Hotel for RTA’s Annual Transportation Brunch event.
Our keynote speaker for our 2026 event will be Andrew Miller, Ph.D., a consultant, advisor, and speaker on innovative mobility and smart cities. He writes a weekly newsletter, Changing Lanes, and has written op/eds for the Wall Street Journal, The Globe and Mail, The New York Post, as well as a longform feature in American Affairs.
Andrew was formerly the Director of Mobility lead for Sidewalk Labs, Google’s smart-city firm, where he led development of innovative mobility systems for a proposed “city of the future” on the Toronto waterfront and is listed as a Fellow of Roots of Progress Institute. He is the co-author of The End of Driving, a book on driving automation, including its opportunities and implications for cities. He holds a B.A. from McGill University, an M.A. from Yale University, and a Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University.
For the RTA 2026 Transportation Brunch, Andrew will dive into several topics and perspectives on innovation in transportation that will be of interest to the regional business community and our elected and transportation partners.
