Join more than 400 regional leaders in January 2025 for the 23rd annual meeting of the metropolitan Triangle’s regional business leadership group on transportation. Members of the regional business community will join regional and statewide leaders in transportation and government as we explore new and innovative ways to fund and advance mobility infrastructure in North Carolina.
The RTA annual meeting is a can’t-miss gathering of regional business leaders, members, elected officials, transportation partners, and other colleagues from our region and state. The event will also feature the annual State of Mobility presentation. All RTA members have one or more tickets included with their membership; additional tickets are available. Sponsorships are $999 and are open to both RTA members and non-members.
This RTA event will include interactive discussion and engagement opportunities for all attendees.

Join more than 300 regional leaders for the annual summer meeting of the metropolitan Triangle’s regional business leadership group on transportation. For the 2024 meeting, members of the regional business community will join regional and statewide leaders in transportation and government as we explore projects and initiatives to accelerate multimodal freeways in the Triangle that will help get us moving faster, together.
This year’s brunch event will be held in concert with the I-40 Regional Partnership — a cooperative initiative of RTA and NCDOT with other area partners, founded 15 years ago to provide an ongoing focus on I-40 for travel and commerce.

The Umstead Hotel and Spa in Cary
The regional business community hosts the annual RTA Transportation Breakfast featuring guest speakers from across the state and/or nation to highlight current and emerging trends in mobility and commerce. More than 200 business, elected, and transportation leaders will attend the event at The Umstead Hotel and Spa. Learn more about the 2022 event here.
The RTA Transportation Breakfast, presented by the Research Triangle Foundation of North Carolina was an opportunity for the regional business community to come together and celebrate purposeful, collaborative, and focused efforts on mobility innovation that is literally changing and saving lives. For this year, we heard from RTA Gold member United Therapeutics and two of their partner companies on an initiative that represents the marriage of life science and mobility.
