Member Briefing: January 26

Here is a brief weekly update from the RTA business coalition – the voice of the regional business community on transportation.

Our 21st annual meeting continues this coming Tuesday

Our largest major event of the year, our RTA 21st Annual Meeting — The State of Mobility 2023, presented by The Research Triangle Foundation of North Carolina and GoTriangle, continues this coming Tuesday morning in Cary.

The first part of our annual event was held online this past Tuesday, January 24th; we had more than 200 people participate and engage with excellent speakers on topics ranging from commuter rail to the airport to highway funding. This week’s blog speaks to an active opportunity for our members to engage directly in the outreach process for the GoTriangle commuter rail study.

This coming Tuesday, January 31, at 11 am brings us the in-person component of the event, which will be held at the Embassy Suites Raleigh/Durham/Research Triangle in Cary. We will have an hour of regional networking until noon, followed by our State of Mobility presentation and a significant interactive regional discussion opportunity.

A small handful of seats for part 2 of the event remain open; however, you must register ASAP as we are effectively at capacity. If you would like to attend, please contact Jacob Rigg, RTA membership operations coordinator, at jacob@letsgetmoving.org or 919.664.7062 to see if space remains. He can also assist you if you have questions about the event.

Thank you for your ongoing dedication to regional business leadership on mobility.

Let’s get moving,

Joe
RTA Executive Director
