NC QuickPass is everywhere – for free

North Carolina has had the most interoperable transponder for tolls for many years.

Effective this month, you can now use your NC Quick Pass transponder — even the free “sticker tag” variety — in any of the 19 states served by the E-ZPass toll network.

This means travel to states in the Midwest like Minnesota and Illinois, to northeastern states like Maine and New York, as well as to our fellow southern states of Georgia and Florida, can all be paid using a North Carolina Quick Pass transponder.

Toll roads are often the best way to travel from a time savings, reliability, and safety standpoint. Thanks to a recent technology upgrade by E-ZPass, the convenience of the North Carolina Quick Pass transponder is available on turnpikes and toll bridges throughout the eastern United States.

If you do not yet have a free NC Quick Pass transponder, you can get one in person at their office in Morrisville, or you can open an account anytime, by visiting ncquickpass.com. Either way, you will pay no monthly service fees, and you will gain access to toll roads across 19 states once you put your pre-payment amount in your account. Plus, you will receive 35% savings on North Carolina toll roads immediately.

Let’s get moving,
